If you are undecided on what to buy the children this year then check out what may be the biggest Christmas top toys for 2010.It seems to come early each year but from around July, most of the respected toy-shops, with big household names, start letting everybody know what they think are going to their clear best-sellers for Christmas.Now, you may be tempted to believe they are simply pre-selling what they hope will be their own particular best-sellers but if their opinions are taken across the board, some clear winners do emerge.This list is not in any particular order but they do include the Christmas top ten toys as predicted by some of our major retailers.1.Paper jamz guitar & drums.These musical instruments are tipped to be a success with kids and parents alike.Dads used "help" put the train set up on Christmas day, now they can be a rock roadie.Just be sure to let the kids have a go.Comes with earphones, so you can still have a quiet and peaceful Christmas.2.Jet Pack Buzz Lightyear.Linked to the popularity of the recen film, Toy Story 3 these characters are bound to make a strong showing.3.Zhu Zhu Hamsters & Kung Zhu Hamsters.These amazing hamsters were the surprise hit of last year and are still going strong.Now, this year there is also a range of combat hamsters available, aimed at the boy's market.4.Lego.Probably one of the nations favourite Christmas toys.It will make an even stronger showing with some amazing "Harry Potter" related games & buildings, coming out before Christmas and the release of some great additions to the superb "City" range.5.Sylvanian Families.Sylvanian family buildings are expected to make strong showing this year with lovely dolls-houses like the "Regency Hotel" and they also a new loveable family set of Meerkats on offer.(Simples!).6.Zapf Baby Dolls.There are some wonderfully realistic baby dolls by Zapf on the market.Look out for "Annabel" in particular.7.VTech Kidizoom Video Camera.Technical toys are making a strong showing this year as younger children get more sophisticated.These handy video cameras are ideal for recording those "Christmas" moments to embarrass family members forever!8.Barbie Video Girl.Something similar, this particular Barbie doll doubles as a camera.It has an LCD screen in her back and the camera lens is concealed in a necklace on her front.For more covert filming.9.Star Wars.Star war toys are forever popular and again there are some great "Lego" related toys and kits around.Most people seem to agree though, that this year "Light sabres" are one of the most wished for presents among boys.10.Stinky The Garbage Truck.A singing and dancing Garbage truck is fascinating to watch.Made by Matchbox, this dustcart transformer has a personality all of its own.Definitely brings smiles to peoples faces as it goes through its moves.

Third-party retailers are now beginning to crank up the price on this set.**Which Lego train system is this? This is Lego's first engine and car for the new Power Function's (PF) train system. PF motors and infrared control devices are now common across a number of Lego product lines (e.g., Creator and Technic). If you have the old 9 volt system (which many Lego users were sorry to see discontinued) you can attempt a modification and place an old motor unit on this new train (others are doing this to varying degrees of elegance); axle width has not changed. If you have either of the RC train sets (7897 and 7898, which were brought out after 9 volt in 2006), those units have their own motor and infrared units (i.e., non-PF). The design is very clean and smooth, with minimal exposed brick lugs, and it comes in a perfect color scheme. It looks more like a model train and less like a child's toy than any previous LEGO train. That said, any child capable of building other complex LEGO sets should be able to handle this one, and will find ample play value in the included minifigures and doors/hatches/roofs that open to expose interiors and little details.
